In 2019 at the world’s leading trade fair for outdoor living, Spoga in Cologne, Piet Jan van den Kommer and Michael Hofmann, founders and managing directors of Grillzimmer – Exclusive outdoor kitchens, got to know and appreciate each other. On January 1st, 2020, Michael Hofmann took over the business activities for WWOO outdoor kitchens in Germany and Austria.

The highest possible quality and sustainable action through high-quality production and shorter transport routes characterize the philosophy of the newly created company WWOO Outdoorküche with owner Michael Hofmann. When looking for a producer who drives WWOO products with the same passion, Michael Hofmann struck gold with the company Betont. Betont GmbH is part of the well-known Eggersmann Group and specializes in structural concrete parts in exposed concrete quality.
